Technology

The technology of ancient China was much more advanced than any other country's at that time. The amount China had achieved in technology by the end of the T'ang dynasty is a unique historical story.

  • The Chinese gradually invented printing.

  • They used the potter's wheel to make high-quality pottery.
The "lost wax" method, may have been used to make bronze urns and vases. This involved making a mold of wax and then applying clay to it. The clay mould was then used to form delicately decorated bronze urns.
